Akeredolu’s Ex-commissioner Defects From APC To PDP


According to her while speaking at the PDP Secretariat in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area of the state, as leader of the Women Groups for Akeredolu’s Campaign in 2016 and 2020 she can no longer pretend that all is well with the APC.

Mrs Yetunde Adeyanju, a former commissioner in the cabinet of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has defected from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Adeyanju, who was the immediate past commissioner for Water Resources, decamped alongside her supporters on Monday.

She had a few months ago, resigned from the cabinet of Akeredolu after she was moved from the Ministry of Water Resources to Regional Planning.

According to her while speaking at the PDP Secretariat in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area of the state, as leader of the Women Groups for Akeredolu’s Campaign in 2016 and 2020 she can no longer pretend that all is well with the APC.

“The APC has brought so much suffering to the people that anybody with sympathy for people must exit the party”
Adeyanju said.

Adeyanju was received into the PDP by the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Fatai Adams, the Governorship Candidate of PDP in Ogun State, Hon. Ladi Adebutu, Deputy Gov-Elect of Osun State Hon. Kola Adewusi and Dr. Eddy Olafeso.
