12 farmers have been killed by bandits after they refused to pay harvest levies.
The sad incident happened on Thursday, November 24 at Rafin Sarki village in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Three other persons were left injured by the bandits.
A politician in the community, Sambokhan Giwa, who confirmed the incident to The Sun Newspaper on Friday, said trouble started when bandits demanded levies from farmers who were harvesting their farm produce.
