The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has met with the US ambassador to Nigeria.

Tinubu on Thursday hosted Mary Beth Leonard, the US ambassador to Nigeria, and Rolf Olson, deputy chief of mission.

In a tweet, Tinubu said he hosted them at the APC presidential campaign council office in the federal capital territory (FCT).

“Today with the US Ambassador, Mary Beth Leonard and Rolf Olson, the US Political Adviser at my Presidential Campaign Office in Abuja,” the standard bearer of the ruling party tweeted.

In a separate visit, Tinubu met with a delegation from the Pentecostal Bishops Forum of Northern Nigeria.

On September 5, the presidential candidate also hosted Catriona Laing, UK high commissioner to Nigeria.
